Corrections policy
When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so.
- Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed. A correction note at the top of the story explains what was wrong and what we changed, with the date.
- Updates (new information, not errors) are marked with an “Updated” time.
- Minor fixes such as spelling or formatting are made without a note when they do not change meaning.
- Removals: we unpublish stories only in exceptional cases (for example legal or safety reasons) and say so when appropriate.
To request a correction, email corrections@northline.today with the story link, the error, and any supporting evidence. We aim to respond within two business days.
